Ford Instrument Cluster Rebuild Service

This service is for the repair of common electronic faults within Ford instrument clusters, particularly failures caused by deteriorated or cracked solder connections within the cluster.

Your original instrument cluster is repaired at component level. We don't simply repair the commonly failed 32 pin connection – the cluster is inspected for further deteriorated or cracked solder joints, with any areas requiring attention repaired as part of the service. The cluster is then tested before being approved and returned to you.

Once repaired and tested, the work carried out is covered by our Lifetime Repair Warranty. We will repair the cluster again free of charge for as long as you own the vehicle.

This repair is suitable for many Ford Focus, C-Max, Kuga, Mondeo and S-Max instrument clusters. Don't worry if your part number is different – Ford used many different part numbers for these clusters. If your cluster looks the same as one shown in this listing or elsewhere on our website, we can repair it.

As your original unit is retained, no mileage correction or programming is required when refitted to the same vehicle.

Common symptoms include:

Lifetime Repair Warranty:

This is a repair warranty and covers faults relating to the repair and inspection service carried out by VSR. It does not provide a lifetime warranty against every possible future failure of the instrument cluster.

Faults not covered can include: LCD/display failure, physical damage, water/liquid damage and unrelated component failure are not covered.

LCD/display faults are not included in this standard repair. LCD replacement may be available at an additional cost.

3. Include your details

5. We repair and test your cluster

Once received, the cluster will be inspected and the applicable electronic fault repaired.

6. Your repaired cluster is returned to you

Your cluster will be securely packaged and sent back using our tracked return delivery service.

Will my cluster need programming after repair?

Normally no. We repair your original instrument cluster, so the existing vehicle information is retained.

Does this repair include the LCD display?

No. LCD/display replacement is not included in the standard repair price. If your LCD requires replacement, please contact us as this may be available at an additional cost.

Does a fault code mean my instrument cluster is definitely faulty?

No. Communication, immobiliser and CAN-related fault codes can also be caused by wiring, power supply or other vehicle faults. Our repair guide contains further diagnostic information.

How long does the repair take?

Most repairs are completed within 24 hours of receiving your instrument cluster.
