This service is for the repair of your original VAG SRS/Airbag Control Module suffering from the common no-communication electronic fault.

Once we receive your module, it is inspected, repaired at component level where appropriate and tested before being returned to you.

This service is suitable for selected VW, Audi, SEAT and Škoda 5Q0959655-series modules.

2. Remove & Package Your Module

Remove the SRS/Airbag Control Module from the vehicle and package it securely to protect it during transport.

Please include a note inside your parcel containing:

We recommend using a tracked postal or courier service and keeping your tracking information until the repair has been completed.

Please ensure your name and order number are included inside the parcel so we can identify your module when it arrives.

4. We Repair & Test Your Module

Once received, we'll match the module to your order, inspect it and carry out the appropriate electronic repair.

The module is then tested using our bench-testing procedures.

5. We Return Your Module

Once the repair has been successfully completed and tested, your original module is securely packaged and returned to you.

6. Refit & Diagnose

Refit the module to the vehicle and carry out a complete diagnostic scan.

As your original module has been repaired and its existing data retained, replacement-module coding is not required simply as a result of this repair.

Any separate faults elsewhere within the vehicle's SRS system will still need to be diagnosed and rectified.

Will I receive my original module back?

Yes. This is a repair service for your original SRS module. We repair and return the same module you send to us.

Will the module need coding when I refit it?

As we repair your original module and retain its existing data, replacement-module coding is not required following a successful repair.

How long does the repair take?

Our usual target is to complete the repair within 48 hours of receiving your module, Monday-Friday.

What if I'm not sure my SRS module is faulty?

What if my module cannot be repaired?

If we find that your module has a different fault or cannot be repaired under this service, we'll contact you to discuss the available options.

Does this service include crash data removal?

No. This product is specifically for the no-communication electronic fault. If your module communicates normally but contains crash data, please use our SRS crash data service.

What warranty do I receive?

This repair includes a 12-month warranty covering the repair carried out by VSR.

Do I need to send the whole vehicle?

No. This is a UK postal module repair service. You only need to send us the SRS module.
